Llangollen Canal

The Llangollen Canal leaves the Shropshire Union Canal at Hurleston and passes through some of the most stunning countryside to end in Llangollen. Certainly one of the most popular canals in the country, with the Chirk and the Pontcysyllte Aqueducts being major attractions. The canal passes through some lovely market towns, and the keen walker or cyclist can follow the un-navigable section of the canal through to its source at Horseshoe Falls.
