There is a certain animosity reserved for London boaters within the British boating community. The stereotype goes that London boaters don’t move in accordance to the CRT rules, they moor badly... and are utterly clueless about their boats.
Choosing to live this lifestyle has offered me ownership of my life, a connection to nature, but what I have found most nourishing has been the interconnectedness I feel for the first time.
